1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between UnoTasker ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") and any individual or entity ("User", "Vendor", or "you") who accesses or uses our website, mobile application, or any related services ("Platform").

By accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

UnoTasker operates as an online service aggregation platform that connects Users seeking home and personal services (such as drivers, cooks, salon professionals, electricians, plumbers, and others) with independent Vendors who provide such services.

UnoTasker is only an intermediary as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not itself provide, own, or operate the services listed. Each Vendor is an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or representative of UnoTasker.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

Users and Vendors must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law.

Registration requires providing accurate and complete information, including name, contact details, and verification documents as applicable.

Users and Vendors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and are liable for all activities under their accounts.

UnoTasker reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms or for providing false information.

4. Vendor Onboarding and Verification

All Vendors undergo KYC verification, identity confirmation, and background checks before activation on the Platform.

Vendors must maintain valid documentation and comply with applicable laws, including labor, safety, and licensing requirements.

UnoTasker reserves the right to re-verify Vendor credentials periodically or upon receiving complaints.

5. Services and Bookings

Users may browse available services and book tasks through the Platform.

Upon confirmation, the Vendor is notified and responsible for timely service delivery.

UnoTasker does not guarantee availability, quality, or outcome of any service and acts only as a facilitator between Users and Vendors.

6. Payments and Fees

Users shall pay the Vendor directly for services rendered, through cash or digital means, as agreed between the parties.

UnoTasker charges Vendors a platform or service fee per completed booking, deducted through their PPI wallet or other approved method.

Vendors are responsible for maintaining sufficient wallet balance and ensuring accurate transaction records.

UnoTasker may modify its fee structure from time to time, with prior notice to Vendors.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

User Cancellations:
Users may cancel a booking before the Vendor has commenced service. Frequent or late cancellations may result in penalties or account restrictions.

Vendor Cancellations:
Vendors are expected to honor confirmed bookings. Repeated cancellations or service failures may lead to suspension or removal from the Platform.

Refunds:
If a service is not performed or is unsatisfactory due to Vendor fault, Users may request a refund or reservice through UnoTasker's grievance redressal mechanism. Refund eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis at UnoTasker's discretion. All eligible returns shall be processed within 48 hours. 

8. User and Vendor Obligations

Users agree to:
• Provide accurate service details and ensure safe, lawful premises for work.
• Treat Vendors respectfully and comply with local laws and safety norms.

Vendors agree to:
• Provide services with due care, skill, and professionalism.
• Maintain proper conduct, punctuality, and hygiene standards.
• Not assign, subcontract, or misuse client information obtained through the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

UnoTasker is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from services rendered by Vendors.

Under no circumstances shall UnoTasker's aggregate liability exceed the total platform fees received from the Vendor for the transaction in question.

UnoTasker is not liable for service delays, accidents, property damage, or misconduct by Vendors or Users.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, text, software, and content available on the Platform are the exclusive property of UnoTasker. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution is prohibited.

Users and Vendors are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Platform solely for legitimate purposes related to UnoTasker's services.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

All personal data collected and processed through the Platform is governed by the UnoTasker Privacy Policy, made in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

By using the Platform, you consent to such processing in accordance with that Policy.

12. Suspension and Termination

UnoTasker reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any User or Vendor account if:

• There is a violation of these Terms or applicable laws;
• Fraudulent or harmful activity is detected; or
• Required by law enforcement authorities.

Upon termination, access to the Platform and related data will be revoked, except as required to be retained by law.

13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

UnoTasker encourages amicable resolution through its Grievance Redressal Officer before approaching courts or authorities.

14. Amendments

UnoTasker may revise or update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with an effective date. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
