Customer Service Agreement

This Customer Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between UnoTasker ("Company", "we", "our") and any individual ("Customer", "you") using the UnoTasker website, mobile application, or related services ("Platform").

By creating an account or booking any service through the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Nature of Services

1.1 UnoTasker operates as an online service aggregation platform that connects Customers with independent Vendors offering various home and personal services (including but not limited to drivers, cooks, salon professionals, electricians, plumbers, and others).

1.2 UnoTasker does not itself perform or provide these services and acts solely as a facilitator/intermediary as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1.3 Each service is rendered by a third-party Vendor, who is an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or representative of UnoTasker.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Customers may request services through the Platform and make payments directly to the Vendor after completion of service.

2.2 UnoTasker may charge Vendors a platform fee for the use of its technology and facilitation services; however, UnoTasker does not collect payments on behalf of Vendors unless otherwise specified.

2.3 UnoTasker is not responsible for any dispute between Customer and Vendor regarding payment amounts, quality, or performance of service.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 You agree to:

• Provide accurate service location and contact details;
• Ensure that the work environment is safe and lawful for service delivery;
• Treat Vendors respectfully and comply with reasonable safety and hygiene standards;
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.

3.2 You shall not request or engage Vendors for any illegal, unsafe, or unregistered activity through the Platform.

4. Verification and Safety

4.1 UnoTasker conducts KYC and background verification of Vendors before onboarding to the Platform.

4.2 While reasonable care is taken in verification, UnoTasker does not guarantee Vendor behavior, skill, punctuality, or service outcomes.

4.3 Customers are encouraged to verify Vendor credentials and take standard precautions during service engagements.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Bookings may be canceled before the service begins. Frequent or late cancellations may lead to account suspension.

5.2 If a Vendor fails to attend or perform the booked service, Customers may raise a complaint with UnoTasker within 24 hours of the incident.

5.3 UnoTasker will assess the situation and may, at its sole discretion, arrange a replacement or refund.

5.4 UnoTasker's decision in such matters shall be final and binding.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 UnoTasker is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, or dissatisfaction arising from Vendor actions or omissions.

6.2 Under no circumstances shall UnoTasker's total liability exceed the service fee (if any) collected from the Vendor for that specific transaction.

6.3 UnoTasker is not responsible for third-party acts, delays, accidents, or circumstances beyond its control.

7. Data and Privacy

7.1 Your personal data is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the UnoTasker Privacy Policy, which complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7.2 By using the Platform, you consent to such processing and communication of your data as described therein.

8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

8.1 In case of disputes between Customer and Vendor, UnoTasker may assist in mediation but is not a party to the service contract.

8.2 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

8.3 The courts of Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement.

9. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By clicking "I Agree" or continuing to use the Platform, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and accepted this Customer Service Agreement;
• You acknowledge UnoTasker's limited role as a service aggregator/intermediary;
• You release UnoTasker from liability for any act or omission of Vendors; and
• You consent to UnoTasker's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
